IMPORTANT NOTE: When you use the Web access to log onto the AirOrange network,
information that is exchanged over the airwaves between a mobile device (such as iPhone and
other hand-held computers) and the wireless network is not secure and can be intercepted by
eavesdroppers.
Information Technology and Services (ITS) has upgraded the AirOrange network to a new,
more secure technology (802.1x), which encrypts the information that is exchanged over
the airwaves between mobile devices and the SU network. Apple iPhones are currently not
compatible with 802.1x wireless technology. When Apple releases an update for the iPhone,
clients are urged to switch to the upgraded and encrypted AirOrangeX wireless network.
