Welcome to MyMail, Syracuse University's Web-based e-mail system that students use to
access their official @syr.edu e-mail accounts. MyMail may also be used by faculty and staff
members who are not using an e-mail package that is specific to their department, school, or
college.
To access MyMail, use the following web browsers:
- Windows XP - Internet Explorer
- Macintosh OSX - Safari
MyMail log in: http://mymail.syr.edu
PLEASE NOTE: Many people manage their MyMail incoming and outgoing e-mail directly through
the MyMail Web interface. However, if you use a third-party e-mail package to access your MyMail account,
please review this important information: Using MyMail with other E-mail Packages (i.e. Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)

University e-mail policy note
The SU e-mail policy requires that all official University e-mail communications be
sent to your @syr.edu e-mail address. You can use only one e-mail package to pick up messages from your
@syr.edu account. If you choose to re-direct your @syr.edu e-mail to another account, such as @gmail.com,
@yahoo.com, or @hotmail.com, you do so at your own risk. To change your @syr.edu e-mail delivery, go to
NetID Web page and click "Manage NetID".
Moving to MyMail from OrangeMail
If you currently use OrangeMail, your e-mail and address book will be automatically copied to your MyMail
account during the setup process. Those files will all be in a folder labeled "Imported Orangemail"
inside your "Mail" folder. Click on the plus sign next to the "Mail" folder.
