Computing Labs
Students have access to a number of computer labs on campus. The computer labs are equipped with
the latest software technologies used in academic coursework, including statistical analysis,
database management tools, and multimedia applications. A list of computer labs
maintained by ITS is available on the Web. A number of schools and colleges also maintain computer
labs for student use.
Class Registration [TOP]
SU students register for classes through a Web-registration system that is accessed through MySlice. Students use their NetID and password to access MySlice. Online tutorials for using the web-based class registration system are available at http://its.syr.edu/myslice/help/.
Printing [TOP]
All public computer labs are equipped with at least one printer, and each computer is set up to
print to that lab printer by default.
Special printing services (i.e., overheads, color, Braille) are also available at convenient
locations on campus.
