Students at Syracuse University have access to a wide range of computing services and facilities,
including:
- High-speed wired and wireless (AirOrange) Internet
connections in the residence halls and across campus.
- E-mail
- File storage space on the SU network
- Web hosting services
- Online academic and personal information resources through MySlice
- Computer labs equipped with specialized academic software technologies
Access to these services is controlled through the NetID and password. Students who have not
activated their NetID are strongly encouraged to do so before they arrive on campus. The process
is simple and can be done online through SU's NetID Web page.
