This help page is designed to assist members of the Syracuse University community who are using Microsoft Office 2007. Here you will find useful learning tools for individuals with all levels of experience. These tools are available to you whenever you need help, by visiting any of the dozens of self-paced learning tutorials developed and delivered by Microsoft. Once you have installed Office 2007 on your computer, you will be able to use the additional practice sessions included in many of the Microsoft tutorials.
The Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 suite, as delivered through Active Directory, includes the software packages listed below.
- Excel - spreadsheet
- Outlook - e-mail/calendar
- PowerPoint - presentation
- Word - word processing
- Access - database management
- Groove - desktop collaboration/communication
- InfoPath - forms designer
- OneNote - digital notebook
If you receive your MS Office products in another way, you may have different software
available to you. Only those computers with Office 2007 installed will be able to practice with the on-line tutorials from Microsoft.
If you wish to participate in an in-person training session, please contact the computing support person in your department or school.
